Novara's "Biscottino" was born in the city's cloisters in mid XVI century, typically given by Novara's clergy to the Roman one during the week after Easter.
This is a simple, light and crumbly biscuit, made with flour, sugar and eggs. Novara's "Biscottino" is Burovo's masterpiece, sold in three variants: with chopped sugar (Granellino), with carameled sugar (Glassatino) or in the classical variation with no additions (Novarino).
WE RECOMMEND: the perfect choice at breakfast or with afternoon tea, it can be used as base to prepare many dessert, starting with Tiramisù!
